Healthcare Employment in Montenegro in 2026
The 2026 law also creates a dedicated temporary residence and work permit for foreign nationals employed in Montenegro's healthcare sector.
The applicant must provide a healthcare-sector employment contract in Montenegro for at least 12 months and evidence of the required education and qualifications.
The permit may be issued for up to 3 years and extended for up to 3 years. Professional licensing or recognition requirements remain separate from immigration permission.
