IT Visa for IT Park Founders in Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan's pre-2025 IT Visa framework covered founders or participants of IT Park resident companies.
What makes the route legitimate
The legal basis is the IT Visa itself; there was not a separate general startup-founder visa in the Tier-1 sources reviewed for the January 2025 snapshot. A founder must fit the IT Park resident-company eligibility framework and obtain the required recommendation.
The IT Visa is a multiple-entry category valid for up to three years and may be extended in Uzbekistan under the applicable rules.
Startup founders outside IT Park
Creating or owning a company does not automatically create immigration permission. Founders who do not qualify under the IT Visa framework must use the visa/status appropriate to their actual activity. Short business travel may fit the B-2 business visa, but that is not a residence or local-employment route.
See the Uzbekistan hub, business visas, Asia, methodology, and legal disclaimer.
