Frequent Investor Multiple-Entry Visa in Rwanda — January 2025 snapshot
DGIE publishes a long-validity multiple-entry visitor visa for a foreign investor, board member or representative of a multinational company who does not reside in Rwanda but has significant business activities in the country and needs regular visits.
January 2025 business-visitor role
The official visitor-visa framework describes this category as multiple entry and valid for two to ten years, renewable, subject to DGIE approval.
Its purpose is repeated business access for a qualifying nonresident. It is not the same as a temporary residence permit and should not be presented as authorization for ordinary local employment.
Residence requires a separate basis
An investor who will actually reside in Rwanda should examine the Investor Residence Permit. A transferred employee should examine the Q1 Intra-Company Transfer Permit.
See the Rwanda hub, business visas, investor visas, methodology, and legal disclaimer.
