Corporate Work Route in South Africa in 2026
South Africa's corporate-visa framework allows qualifying South African corporate applicants to seek authorization to employ a specified number of foreign workers under the current Immigration Act and Regulations.
Employer-level route
This is primarily an employer/corporate authorization mechanism rather than a general individual entrepreneur visa. Foreign workers admitted under the corporate framework still need the immigration documentation required for the approved corporate employment arrangement.
Future reform is not current law
The March 2026 final revised White Paper proposes replacing the corporate visa for genuinely short-term or seasonal jobs with a future sectoral visa model.
Until legislation and implementing rules change, the existing corporate route remains the relevant current-law reference.
