Philippines Special Investor's Resident Visa (SIRV) in 2026
The SIRV is the Board of Investments investor-residence program. Current BOI material states that an applicant must be at least 21 and willing and able to invest at least US$75,000 in an eligible form of investment.
Probationary then indefinite status
BOI's current application materials distinguish the probationary SIRV stage from conversion to an indefinite SIRV. The residence privilege is tied to maintaining the qualifying investment and ongoing program compliance.
Investment is not citizenship
SIRV is an immigration/residence program, not citizenship by investment. It should also not be confused with owning any property or simply incorporating a company; the investment must satisfy the SIRV program rules.
