Singapore remote work options in 2026
Singapore does not publish a dedicated digital-nomad immigration route.
ICA states that a Short-Term Visit Pass holder cannot use ordinary visitor permission for employment or business activity unless a valid work pass or a specific exemption applies.
MOM also states that the Personalised Employment Pass is not available to freelancers or people intending to work on a freelance basis.
Depending on the activity, a person may instead need an Employment Pass, ONE Pass, or EntrePass.
Registering a Singapore company does not by itself grant immigration permission.
