Investor Residency in Saudi Arabia in 2026

The Business Investor Residency product is Saudi Arabia's Premium Residency route for qualifying investors. It should not be confused with merely holding shares in a company or obtaining a business visit visa.

Current published threshold

The Premium Residency Center currently requires evidence of qualifying investment in Saudi Arabia. Its published criteria include Ministry of Investment licensing, valid commercial records and company documentation showing the applicant's qualifying share, with a minimum applicant investment/share of SAR 7 million.

The Center also publishes a requirement to show a capital injection of at least SAR 7 million and evidence of 10 employees attributable to the applicant's investment share.

Residence outcome

The Center describes this product as leading directly to permanent Premium Residency, subject to continuing product conditions. The current product material specifically ties that outcome to maintaining the minimum investment and the required employment level during the first two years.

The published product fee is SAR 4,000. This is the Premium Residency product fee; it should not be treated as the total cost of investment, incorporation, licensing, professional services, tax, government filings or other compliance.

What this route is not

Company incorporation alone is not immigration permission. A commercial registration or Ministry of Investment license can be part of the evidence, but the Premium Residency decision is a separate process.

Founders relying on approved venture funding rather than the investor product should compare Entrepreneur Residency. Property-led applicants should compare Real Estate Owner Residency.

Always re-check the Premium Residency Center before applying because product criteria and administrative requirements can change.
