Saint Vincent and the Grenadines temporary residence
The Prime Minister's Office says anyone wishing to reside in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines for an extended period may apply for temporary residence.
Published supporting evidence
The government's residence requirements include the completed application, certified passport photos, a police certificate from the applicant's recent country of residence, evidence of financial resources, a letter explaining the reason for residence or a support letter, a medical certificate and passport biodata.
If the applicant plans to be employed, the published requirements also call for employer support explaining the recruitment of a non-national and accepting financial responsibility where required.
Work permission is separate
Residence should not be treated as automatic work authorization. An applicant who will be employed or self-employed should also check the relevant work-permit rules unless an exemption applies.
Path toward permanent residence
The PMO FAQ states that a person with seven or more consecutive years of temporary residence may apply for permanent residence.
