Saint Vincent and the Grenadines self-employed work permit
The Prime Minister's Office explicitly recognizes self-employment in its work-permit process and publishes a dedicated Self-employed Work Permit Form.
Who this can fit
The PMO FAQ says an applicant should have a prospective employer or proof that he or she is self-employed to be eligible to apply for a work permit. That makes this the most direct official framework for freelancers, independent consultants and founders who personally perform paid work in the country.
No separate startup or freelancer visa
The reviewed official framework does not publish a separate startup-founder visa, entrepreneur visa or freelancer visa. Search terms using those labels should therefore be mapped to the actual self-employed work-permit and residence rules rather than treated as separate immigration categories.
Residence for longer stays
If the requested work permit is for more than six months, the PMO says a residence permit is also required. Business registration, incorporation or an investment incentive does not by itself replace either authorization.
