Grenada Citizenship by Investment
Grenada's Citizenship by Investment Programme operates under the Citizenship by Investment Act and is administered by the Investment Migration Agency Grenada.
Investment routes
The official programme offers two core routes to citizenship:
- a contribution to the National Transformation Fund (NTF); or
- investment in an approved project, most commonly approved real-estate development.
Current official material publishes an NTF contribution of US$235,000 for a main applicant and up to three qualifying dependants. For approved-project real estate, the agency publishes a minimum investment starting at US$270,000, with the applicable government contribution and other fees added separately.
Agent and due-diligence process
Applicants do not submit directly to the agency. The official process is conducted through authorised agents, with documents, medical evidence, source-of-funds review, background due diligence and a mandatory interview process before final approval.
The qualifying contribution or project purchase is completed after approval in principle. Once the agency receives the required proof of investment and the application is finalized, the certificate of registration establishes Grenadian citizenship.
Family members
The programme permits qualifying dependants to be included, subject to the current definitions, contribution rules and additional fees. Family composition can materially change the total cost, so applicants should use the current official fee schedule and authorised-agent guidance.
Permanent residence alternative
Grenada's investment legislation also permits a qualifying applicant to pursue permanent residence by investment rather than proceeding directly to citizenship.
